RetireMed Celebrates New Location with Give-Back Event
Food truck rally to support the Alzheimer’s Association
BLUE ASH, Ohio (Sept. 6, 2022) – RetireMed, a leading provider of Medicare guidance and health plan support services, will celebrate the opening of its new office in Blue Ash with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and food truck rally on Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
The relocation comes on the heels of a grant secured by RetireMed through JobsOhio and REDI Cincinnati to bring 20 new, full-time positions to the Queen City.
“We’re very excited to be a part of the Blue Ash community,” said Marisa O’Neill, chief executive officer of RetireMed. “We’re more than doubling our current Cincinnati team through the addition of these new positions and will have more space to work one-on-one with individuals in need of Medicare guidance and enrollment support.”
To commemorate the occasion, RetireMed will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and food truck rally outside of its new office location and is inviting residents of Blue Ash and those from surrounding communities to join. The ribbon-cutting will take place at 11:30 a.m. where O’Neill will be joined by Kelly Harrington, Blue Ash assistant city manager, and Fire Chief Chris Theders.
Lunch options will be available for purchase, and attendees can enjoy games, music, and free Graeter’s ice cream. A portion of the event’s proceeds, as well as individual donations, will help support the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Cincinnati Chapter.
“We are beyond grateful and so appreciative of the years of support from Marisa and the RetireMed team,” said Annemarie Barnett, executive director of the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Cincinnati Chapter. “We know it is only with full-mission supporters like RetireMed that we can and will achieve the goal of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.”
O’Neill currently serves on the board for the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Cincinnati Chapter and is co-chairing the Cincinnati Walk to End Alzheimer’s – the eighth largest walk in the country – on Oct. 1, 2022.
