The new Hamilton County Coroner’s Office and Crime Lab in Blue Ash is nearing completion.
The $55 million state-of-the-art office is located at 4477 Carver Woods Drive.
The 87,000 sq. ft. facility nearly triples the space of the current office on Eden Avenue in Cincinnati.
It will house nine autopsy stations, a 150-person training room, and new high tech equipment including a Lodox x-ray machine that completes body scans in 13 seconds instead of one hour.
The employees and equipment are expected to be moved in by the end of March.
A ribbon-cutting for the new facility will happen in early May.
