Congratulations to the Blue Ash-based companies that received Paycheck Protection Program funds.
Over 1,000 loans totaling nearly $219 million were granted to businesses in Blue Ash. That is the largest amount for any suburb in the State of Ohio, according to a Cincinnati Business Courier analysis.
Ohio companies received about $24 billion in loans as part of the Small Business Administration program, the article stated.
The Paycheck Protection Program is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll.The loans will be forgiven if all employee retention criteria are met, and the funds are used for eligible expenses, according to the Small Business Administration.
