Cincinnati Thermal Spray, Inc. increases its presence in Blue Ash
Established in the City of Blue Ash in 1978, CTS is a leading provider of advanced coatings and surface modifications solutions. CTS improves the performance of products for a number of markets on a worldwide basis, including aerospace, land-based gas turbine, steel, commercial, and medical. The company also creates solutions for many of the industry's toughest problems related to wear, corrosion, erosion, abrasion, and thermal conductivity.
CTS has expanded its operations to include facilities in New Jersey, North Carolina and Texas and recently needed additional space in Blue Ash to accommodate further growth. In April, the company moved into a 25,000 square foot facility at 10904 Deerfield Road which is near its other facility at 5901 Creek Road.
"We're pleased to expand in Blue Ash," said Dan Classen, President of CTS. "Blue Ash is our company's headquarters and City officials have always been very supportive of CTS." The building has been fully outfitted with new equipment and includes office space and a manufacturing facility that will enable CTS to enhance its capabilities, add capacity, and expand its services to meet the needs of customers.
CTS employs 200 people nationwide, including 100 in Blue Ash.
