Energy

Duke Energy is the primary provider of electric and natural gas utility services in Blue Ash and the metropolitan area. Duke Energy:

• Consistently ranks among the top 10 investor-owned utilities nationwide for electric generating efficiency
• Provides service to 750,000 customers within a 3,000-square-mile region
• Merged with Cinergy in April 2006 which should result in enhanced operations and efficiencies
• Partners with the City of Blue Ash to assist new and existing companies with a variety of programs and services

Water service is provided by the City of Cincinnati's Cincinnati Water Works (CWW) which supplies over 48 billion gallons of water annually through 2,900 miles of water lines. CWW maintains two 2-million-gallon reservoirs in Blue Ash to ensure water quality and supply for residents and businesses.

Sewer and Waste

Sewer and wastewater collection and treatment services are provided by the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati, a county-wide system operated by the City of Cincinnati. MSD's Division of Industrial Waste (513) 557-7000 offers a Pretreatment Program and other business services.
