Courier names 2011 Best Places to Work Finalists
The Business Courier announced its 2011 Best Places to Work finalists. Of the 50 regional finalists, 15 of the companies have a presence in the City of Blue Ash. Congratulations to our local finalists!

Streamline software receives stamp of approval Streamline Health Solutions Inc., in Blue Ash said its AccessAnyWare v.5.1 electronic health record software has received the federal government's "meaningful use" stamp of approval, allowing health care providers who deploy it to qualify for funding under the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). "Healthcare providers can now leverage our software to not only make significant improvements to patient quality and business processes, but to also achieve meaningful use and qualify for incentive funds under ARRA, " said Robert Watson, president and CEO.
Company adapts to change: Keeping up with technology keeps supplier viable Acutek Automation, a supplier of factory automation and controls in Blue Ash, has changed its approach to meet changing needs of its manufacturing customers. The small, 15-year-old company started out producing control panels and other electrical hardware for manufacturers such as GE Aviation and Honda. But today it's focused on supplying the software and programmable controls that manufacturers need to capture every piece of information about their products.
The transformation came out of necessity as businesses confronted the recession, say partners David Tryling and Susan Rodgers, who bought the company 11 years ago. To read more, click here.
Ascendum Acquires TinyBrick Ascendum Solutions, a global technology services company headquartered in Blue Ash, OH, announced it has acquired TinyBrick, LLC, a leading provider of Magento modules and extensions for businesses to utilize Magento as their eCommerce platform. Magento, recently acquired by eBay, is one of the fastest growing, open source based eCommerce platforms in the market. Click here to read more about this acquisition.
