The Chinese company, which trades on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, opened its North American headquarters in Blue Ash. They are starting with four employees in a 12,000-square-foot office building at 9990 Carver Road. They plan to add additional employees as they grow their United States business.

Global_Bio_Chem_2___ribbon_cuttingAccording to Jeff Mahaffey, Chief Operating Officer for Global Bio-Chem, the company moved to the Cincinnati region to be centrally located to many of the industries Global Bio-Chem supplies. At present, the firm has customers in 12 western countries, including the United States and Canada.





iTelligence_Logoitelligence was granted a State of Ohio 55 percent Job Creation Tax Credit over seven years, valued at $585,250, to relocate and expand in the City of Blue Ash. The company plans to build a 62,500 SF office building and a data center in Blue Ash on the south side of Osborne Boulevard. itelligence's global headquarters is in Germany and the proposed Blue Ash location will be their U.S. headquarters. The $18 million project is expected to create 45 jobs and retain 120 positions.

JPeterman_LOGOThe J. Peterman Company is moving its operations from Lexington, Kentucky to 5345 Creek Road. J. Peterman is a retail company that sells clothing and accessories through the catalog and the internet. In the mid nineties, the popular television show, Seinfeld, parodied the owner and the company with a catalog-company businessman named J. Peterman. The actual company is owned by Tim Peterman, son of the founder, and it employs 48 employees. In January 2011, J. Peterman received a Job Creation Tax Credit incentive from the State of Ohio valued at $122,000 over a six year term.


Expanding in Blue Ash

They are very experienced in evaluating compliance with relevant regulations and ethical guidelines. “We perform high quality reviews in a timely manner and have been selected by virtually every major pharmaceutical and biotech company to perform reviews of their studies,” says John Isidor, J.D., Senior Director and Founder of Schulman Associates. Due to the current and anticipated growth of their business, Schulman is moving from their Glendale Milford location to 26,000 sq. ft. at 4445 W. Lake Forest Drive. They plan to move to their new offices in July, 2011.
