"On-The-Job" Education
Companies throughout the city of Blue Ash provided unique opportunities for students to apply the "theories" they learn during the school year through their internship or co-op programs. Three students who worked in local companies this summer shared their response to this question:
"What is the most important lesson you have learned through you co-op/internship experience?"
Christine Minges

Company: CTI Clinical Trial Services, Inc.
“During this internship I have learned about the relationship between the pharmaceutical and medical fields, as well as gained a perspective on the significance of clinical trials. I have been challenged with many projects from different aspects of the company. My internship has been a unique experience that will remain invaluable to me for my future schooling and career."
Travis Henry Boraten

“The CO-OP/internship program provides a student with the opportunity to experience what it is like to perform in the real work environment. It allowed me to know how well I liked working in this field. It opens up great opportunities to start networking with people as well.”
Christina Li

“I have a greater appreciation for the statistical aspects of marketing. The link between data analysis and the more creative side of marketing are interconnected. Without understanding a product’s performance in a market, advertising and promotion would not be as effective.”
