Recreation Center Update

Phase I of the $9.3 million recreation center expansion project is underway. The expanded recreation center design and features were developed from input received from citizens and center members will include the following: an expanded fitness room, an elevated running/walking track, a climbing wall, an expanded family area, an exercise multi-purpose room, a new lobby and new
locker rooms. The project will be completed in late 2008.


Taste of Blue Ash

August 24-26

Join the City of Blue Ash for great music, food and fun times at the 22nd annual Taste of Blue Ash presented by Toyota, Fifth Third Bank, Time Warner, and The Ohio Lottery Friday will be Sunday August 24, 25 & 26, in downtown Blue Ash.

The Towne Square stage will again host national level entertainment each evening of the event, including Peter Cetera on Friday, Dennis DeYoung (music of Styx) on Saturday; and America on Sunday. For complete concert schedule click here.

There is no admission charge or tickets required for the event or the concerts.


Blue Ash Airport Days

September 22-23

The 11th Annual Blue Ash Airport Days event is set for Saturday and Sunday, September 22ndrd. The fun-filled weekend that celebrates aviation will also benefit the Heart Center at Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The event takes place at the Blue Ash Airport between 9:00 - 5:00 p.m. each day. Airport Days is not a city event, but is presented with the support of the city. Five sessions that broaden participants knowledge of regional issues, provides an opportunity to meet regional leaders and promote connectedness to the region and course participants. Program for senior level executives and professionals who have relocated to the area between one and three years. Mammography Van

The St. Elizabeth & TriHealth Mobile Mammography Van will be at City Hall on Wednesday, September 19th from 8 AM to 11:30 AM and is open to all women age 35 and older. Almost all insurance plans are accepted. The screening is very private with separate waiting, dressing, and exam rooms. Takes less than 15 minutes. Scheduled appointments are preferred; however, walk-ins will be accepted if time permits. Call the City's HR Office at 745-8642 to schedule an appointment for this very important medical screening.
