SS&G Inc., one of the largest accounting firms in Greater Cincinnati, is merging with an accounting firm that's among the nation's 10 largest.
Chicago-based BDO USA will add SS&G to its operations as of Jan. 1 through a transaction the firms announced Wednesday. BDO is the seventh-largest accounting firm in the country, according to Accounting Today, but it's never had an office in Ohio.
The SS&G offices, including its two local outposts, downtown and a newly relocated office in Blue Ash at Kemper Pointe, will change their names to BDO when the deal is complete.
