Two New Facilities in Blue Ash

To say that Mammotome, a division of Devicor Medical Products, Inc., has been busy over the past three years is an understatement.  In fact, the company has been on the fast track since it acquired Blue Ash-based Ethicon's breast care unit in 2010. The acquisition included Mammotome®, a minimally invasive, vacuum-assisted biopsy system that enables doctors to diagnose and detect breast cancer and other breast abnormalities. Since 1995, the Mammotome System has been used to perform successful biopsies on more than four million women worldwide.

According to the company's Chief Executive Officer, Tom Daulton, both facilities play very important roles in the company's supply chain. "The service center is responsible for inspecting and repairing our products, and our distribution center ships our products to our other distribution centers which are located across the globe," he stated.

Rick Alley, Mammotome's Global Supply Chain Director, added, "We selected Blue Ash because of the high quality of real estate and the talent pool of job candidates with industry experience."

Mammotome is the global leader of vacuum-assisted breast biopsy products. The company has more than 40 employees around the world and sells its products in over 50 countries.
