Cincinnati Eye Institute's Urgent Eye Clinic
Cincinnati Eye Institute (CEI) is the largest ophthalmology practice in the US and its main office is in Blue Ash. In addition to its top doctors and specialists, the Blue Ash office has an Urgent Eye Clinic.
Doctors at the clinic diagnose and treat up to 60 patients a day for all kinds of eye conditions, including ocular trauma, pink eye, sudden blind spots, halos, flashes of light, contact lens problems, scratches, and foreign bodies in the eye.
Donald Holmes, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at CEI, said, "Patients needing a second opinion or more diagnosis are referred to CEI by other urgent clinics, emergency rooms and doctors. Our clinic has all the necessary testing equipment and doctors to care for these patients."
The Urgent Eye Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is located at 1945 CEI Drive. Appointments are needed. A CEI ophthalmologist is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
