AdvancePierre Foods, Inc. brings 100+ jobs to its
new corporate headquarters in Blue Ash
AdvancePierre Foods, a leading supplier of value-added protein and handheld convenience products, began moving more than 100 executives and staff into its new corporate headquarters in the Landings of Blue Ash over the Memorial Day weekend.
According to Michael Sims, AdvancePierre Food's CFO, the decision to move was based on the company's commitment to delighting its customers. To accomplish that, Sims stated the company recognized the need to bring its executives, business unit team members and support staff together under one roof to increase their ability to collaborate and innovate.
"We looked at options in other states, but wanted to stay in Greater Cincinnati. We selected Blue Ash because it's less than 15 minutes away from our operations in West Chester and it's close to downtown and Kenwood. There was also a great selection of real estate in Blue Ash and we really like the area and the amenities it offers," Sims said.
AdvancePierre Food's Blue Ash corporate headquarters has 25,000 square feet of team-based office space and will serve as the company's Blue Ash Support Center. AdvancePierre Foods is also renovating its administrative offices in West Chester into a shared services center to further strengthen its commitment to delivering superior customer service and great tasting food solutions.
The company has been headquartered in Greater Cincinnati since 1946 when Pierre Foods, Inc. was founded. In 2010, Pierre Foods merged with Advance Brands, LLC to form AdvancePierre Foods, and in 2011, the company acquired Barber Foods. Today, AdvancePierre Foods is the region's largest privately held company with approximately 900 employees in Greater Cincinnati, and a total of more than 4,000 employees in 11 facilities in several states. The company serves customers across the foodservice, school, retail, club, vending, and convenience store channels.
